What is your relationship to independence?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for July 04, 2009:
Do you allow yourself to rely on others?
...yes , selectively ...i believe in the concept of interdependence in relationships ( of course, a day may come when i would be totally dependent on others !! and no one would be dependent on me for anything ...and i shudder at the very thought of it !! )
Do you mind when others depend on you?
...no..and my responsibility towards him /her bounds to weigh me down !!...
