Help

Does the same apply to judges at a swimming competition?
;)
I can see it now…
“9 points for B Jagadish”
…and you pointing your finger it revolt.
“Judge not lest ye be judged! That was easily a 10!”
I'm with you on this Jagadish. When we make decisions (judgements), do we do it to help restore a person to the best part of themselves or do we do it to condemn? I don't mind helping/assisting, when asked of others, to get to the bottom of an error so that all parties may move on peacefully. I'm thinking also that what we have in America as a Justice System, does not do this very much. Decisions are made quickly and often only on the evidence (information) that is allowed to be presented. I also think we make decisions (judgements) in all that we do. I should not want to be a judge to judge “right from wrong”. Things are just not that clear to me in a universe where nothing is ever lost ultimately.
Thanks for your lovely thoughts here. I will meditate on this today and try to see where I make judgements today.
…well said Tharlam !, you have simply bowled me over with a beauty !!…in fact i never thought in that angle !…BTW in competetions i normally swim for my own pleasure & keep enjoying my laps & it so happens that i end up reaching the winning post before others in the group and so get ' judged ' as a winner without myself actually ' working ' for it …

…thank you dear Satya - Seer for your detailed analysis …
…..here's something further i want to add …
Tsekung asked , ” Is there one word that can serve as a Principle of Conduct for life ? ”
Confucius replied , ” It is the word Shu - Reciprocity : Do not do to others what you do not want them to do to you . ”
…thank you once again
